The little drips and drops of water colour started to spread as soon as they hit the paper, forming what looked like rose petals.
So I went with that, adding more layers and then ink.

I don't like most of the flowers. I like the combination of water colour and ink, but the water colour looked far too messy, which in itself is strange because normally I love messy.
I do like this one flower though:

Exploring this new medium is great fun, even if the results are not always something I end up loving or even liking. But hey, I'm learning!
