I am learning more and more about colour and colour combinations and why certain combos work better than others. Youtube is a great source to learn more about colour theory, and it doesn't have to from be videos on painting and mixing paints only.
This lady shows how to work with a colour wheel and certain combinations in flower arrangements. Here she is explaining anagolous colours:
